CPR 10 Utsav

Health Care Comments Off

Dear Colleague

Heart Care Foundation of India and NDMC are jointly organizing a CPR 10 Utsav in which thousands of peoples will be trained on CPR 10 technique (how to revive heart after it has stopped).

The training will be held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium on Sunday the 15th December, 2013 from 9.00 AM onwards and will be inaugurated by NDMC Chairman Sh. Jalaj Shrivastava.

The training will be provided on one to one basis using 1500 manikins. In the last one year we have trained over 80,000 people in this technique. We also have a record of training over13,000 peoples in one day on 6th April, 2013 on the eve of Heart World Day.

I have a feeling that CPR training should be made compulsory in schools and colleges and in a health care set up, all starting from the security guard to the CEO must be certified in CPR 10 technique.

I hereby appeal to all of you to join this movement and also ask your relatives and patients to come and learn this technique which is being provided free of cost.

In Delhi alone, 40 lives can be saved everyday if 10% of the population learns this technique.

It is well known fact that after cardiac arrest for 10 minutes, the soul does not leave the body and brain remains alive during this period. A successful CPR 10 done by any bystander can revive the heart.

Looking forward to have you with us.
